Laura L. Page was born on February 3, 1973 in Alice Springs, Australia, the younger of two children. Ms. Page received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Colorado State University. Since graduating from the University of Denver, College of Law and becoming licensed to practice law in 1999, Ms. Page has focused almost exclusively on family law and domestic relations. Ms. Page enjoys the daily challenges and reward associated with practicing domestic relations law. She is also a trained mediator, who values the unique opportunity to assist her clients in resolving disputes prior to litigation. Ms. Page has extensive courtroom and trial experience, beginning as an intern with the investigative, appellate, and county court divisions of a local District Attorney’s office and continuing as a family law practitioner. Ms. Page’s clients often see Ms. Page as a caring and compassionate advocate, who fights tirelessly for her clients’ rights. Ms.Page is an elected member of the Executive Council of the Family Law Section of Colorado Bar Assocation and is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association, Denver Bar Association, and Douglas-Elbert Bar Association. She was the co-chair of the 2011 annual Family Law Institute and the Kick-Off to the Institute Fundraiser, featuring actor, Alec Baldwin as the headliner. Ms. Page was also part of the team who revised the Domestic Relations Law & Orders Bench Book in 2009 and 2011. Ms. Page has been active in the Douglas-Elbert Bar Assocation through her volunteer work with the Douglas-Elbert County High School Mock Trial Competition. She is also very proud of the Pro Bono Mediation Clinic she started and runs in Douglas County to assist with low income litigants ordered to mediation to resolve contempt related issues. In 2010, Ms. Page was named a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers. |
